One of our favorite places in Kenya is Lewa Downs. A 60,000 acre fenced property owned by a Scottish family, Will and Emma Craig. We had the opportunity to visit on several occasions. And, also spent almost three months playing host there: a fabulous experience for both of us. Don, acting as the supreme host to many interesting guests. And, I, documenting our trip with many paintings of the people and the animals who are lucky enough to live there.
There was a huge garden maintained by the Masai women and this is but one of many I painted on site there.
