Everything about Villa Saint Louis is so paintable. The early afternoon sunlight just makes this scene on Bernadette’s terrace that much more magical. I am always captivated by the effect of sunlight and the shadows they cast. Not to mention, I love anything old and worn with time. I guess that’s why Villa Saint Louis will always furnish me with great subject matter.
