Years ago, I took a photo of a row of boats in Boothbay Harbor, Maine and painted it. Just the other day I found the same photo and decided to paint it once again. There is something about boats that always make for great subject matter. In this painting, it’s like each one of them has a different personality. And certainly they are toys for boys.
