Landscapes

One of the main reasons Don and I made the leap and moved to France years ago was the enticement of painting the landscapes here. Living in the Luberon Valley I am surrounded by all sorts of subject matter just waiting to be painted. Also, for some reason I am fascinated by the old and ancient…be it the houses and their crooked rooftops or the old narrow streets in the villages close to us, I am forever grateful for all this wonderful subject matter. - Alice Williams
