Having painted portraits for nigh onto twelve years, it all left me with an enduring love for painting the figure. So recently I hired a young beauty and placed her on our bed, feigning sleep. Lovely subject matter for this artist, I really enjoyed creating this cozy rendition. Time and again I am intrigued by the light … this time … of the small lamps and their effect on all the objects around them.
