With any painting, you could almost always say… it’s all about light. At least, that is what I think about: warm or cool light, strong or oh, so subtle, back lit or direct, bleached or filtered. You might say I am obsessed with it. At least, with this painting, my goal was to capture the light coming through the lace of the curtain. What fun!
