The fabulous port town of Honfleur has been the subject of many of my paintings for years now. Reason being, it is so very paintable. We went there many times in the late eighties while living in Paris and I was bewitched by its charm.
We returned for a visit with friends who live not far away. It had not lost any of its charm…au contraire, just seemed even more paintable. Thus, great subject matter for this demonstration.
