There is something quite strong that draws me to painting interiors. Maybe it is the capturing of light playing on the objects in this painting. I am entranced with light. Most of these fabrics, the sheets, the pillow cases, and the bedspread are all white. And yet, the light from the lamp, and the distance of each to the lamp, make for a symphony of color differences that entices me. I had a lot of fun painting this.
