In Caline’s studio in Aix one day, we were both just experimenting with different subject matter and materials. She, cutting out pieces of paper and gluing (which she loves to do) and I, combining some of her premixed acrylics (gorgeous colors) with which I covered the canvas. And then painting with oils on top of the dried acrylics. I flat dabbed loved the results.
