Alice Williams is a modern day Post-Impressionist style painter inspired by the turn of the century French artists such as Bonnard, Vuillard, and Van Gogh, that created this art movement bringing in bolder colors and more energetic brush strokes they felt Impressionism lacked. Having painted for over 50 years, Alice has honed in on her expertise with oils.
Living between the US and Provence with her husband Don, Alice finds inspiration all around her. In addition to being a master artist of her style, Alice is also a master gardener, creating picturesque gardens to fit her provencal surroundings of vineyards, olive groves, fields of sunflowers and lavender, and historical villages.
